The last attempt to make a Muppets TV show went pretty terribly, with the more adult, Office-style sitcom souring what makes the characters so charming and largely missing the point completely.

Being on Disney's streaming service, however, gives things a chance to get things back on track. These characters are still an absolute joy when done right, which Disney must recognise at this point, and can appeal to kids and adults alike without needing to try and be edgy. It's time to get things started again.
