Disney's Star Wars Land: 10 Dream Attractions Fans Need To See

10. The Millennium Falcon Experience

At present, the best Star Wars ride in existence is probably Star Tours, a motion simulator attraction that debuted in 1987. Since then, the ride has undergone various improvements and upgrades. In essence, it involves being guided through the galaxy by C-3PO, with the action taking place on-screen while moving seats and vivid surround sound give the impression of actual movement.

Simulation rides are incredibly popular at theme parks, because they take up a relatively low amount of space and are much cheaper to construct than a traditional roller-coaster. Star Wars Land is a brilliant opportunity, then, to tackle the motion simulator using modern technology. And what better way to do this than by using the ship known for its ability to travel huge distances over a short amount of time?

Much of the appeal of modern simulators is the exterior aesthetic, as it contributes to the overall immersion of the experience. Having a Millennium Falcon motion simulator taking place inside an actual replica of the Falcon would be incredible. Imagine a chase akin to the Tie Fighter sequence near the start of The Force Awakens, ducking and diving through an Imperial Star Destroyer. The potential is absolutely huge.
