DiCaprio proved how awesome he could be early in his career with his performance in What's Eating Gilbert Grape (which netted him the Best Actor in a Supporting Role) and he's gone from strength to absolute strenght, obviously becoming a regular favourite of the man, the legend, Martin Scorsese. When it was announced that Leonardo DiCaprio had been cast as Django Unchained lead antagonist Calvin Candie, my jaw all but hit the floor. Tarantino and DiCaprio, two of the most exciting talents currently active in Hollywood, working together for the first time in their careers. Make no mistake, this is a landmark occurrence; one I'm sure will prove a huge success for both Director and Actor and one we're all eagerly anticipating.
