10. The Illuminati

While the Avengers have always been the main culmination of heroes in the MCU, the comics are littered with other teams, just as great and powerful. From the X-Men and Fantastic Four, to other iterations of the Avengers, be they West Coast or Great Lakes etc., and of course, the Illuminati.

There have been many different rosters throughout the years, all incredibly strong and super intelligent beings. Tony Stark, T'Challa, Captain America, and Namor, among many others have joined Stephen Strange as part of the team that once looked after the infinity gems, as well Charles Xavier and Reed Richards.

According to this rumour, the new dangers Doctor Strange will face from the multiverse will be much higher than simple 'Avengers level' threats, forcing the Sorcerer Supreme to bring together a stronger team, including Professor X and Mister Fantastic from their own universes.

Of course, though it would be incredible to see Steve Rogers or T'Challa back on our screens in 2021, this would be the biggest takeaway by far. Not only would it see the integration of the X-Men and the Fantastic Four into the MCU, it would bring them in as already established teams with no difficult explanations as to where they've been all these years.
