Wright used a crazy amount of detail in his shots, stuffing most of them with cryptic clues. For example, Scotts parka has an original X-men logo on it, hinting at the impending evil-ex fighting.. There are also signs in the environment, such as when Scott and Knives pass through the snow on the way to Scotts bedsit and the lights on Ramonas side of the bus after the Rockit fight being all xs, as opposed to Scotts being hearts. Also, Scott tears off the x from his parka after leaving his bedsit via the window, adding to the seven exes in the previous shot and implying that he too could become an evil ex.
