The inspiration for the scene where Ramona uses Scott to fight Roxy is taken from a scene in OMalleys comics where he wrote that the two characters fought actress Winifred Hailey - who actually appears in the movie as the actress in Lucas Lee's movie (played by Emily Kassie above) and an army of clones in the exact same style. The comic was released for 2006s Free Comic Book Day. The fight itself also acts as a homage to Jackie Chans inventive fight sequences. There is also a gaming reference in this scene as Roxy and Scott/Ramona fight, the womans voice heard is that of Angel, mores specifically the PS2s Tekken Tag Tournament.
