All the pubs featured in the film do not exist in real life in their The Worlds End guises. However, they are actually regular pubs in Welwyn Garden City and Letchworth Garden City, but given new, significant names. Ironically, a pub crawl in Letchworth where the majority of filming took place is that it would be over very quickly. Until 1995, the town had only 6 drinking establishments two hotel bars and four pubs. Even now, there are only 7 pubs and one hotel bar, which for a British town of 37,000 is an incredibly low figure. However, it does possess the UKs first roundabout, something which was referenced in the film, with Newton Haven picking up that honour in Letchworths place.
