On their way into Newton Haven, the group are stopped by a policeman because Garys car nicknamed The Beast, has a busted tail-light. The actor playing the policeman is Steve Oram, star of Ben Wheatleys Sightseers. As referenced above, Wright was a producer for Wheatleys dark comedy, which also explains why female lead Alice Lowe pops up in the film. Yet unlike Lowe, Oram hadnt before had a cameo in a Wright film.
