The final overt reference of the film comes when Andy is explaining the state of affairs after The Network pulls out of Earth, and it also provides a neat bookend for the entire Cornetto/Blood and Ice Cream trilogy. The only perfect end could be if a cornetto conspicuously absent from The Worlds End throughout appeared, which it duly does. It occurs when Any is talking about him and his wife getting back together and going organic. Andy states that he likes it but he does missed processed food, and at that point a mint Cornetto wrapper hits the fence hes staring through. Its a good way to end the references, because it provides the definitive reference of the series, and ties it all up in a neat bow. You know, after the apocalypse and all that.
