No exhaustive list is complete without a Wilhelm Scream, and no film is complete without at least one instance of Wilhelm screaming his lungs out. Well, Shaun of the Dead is no exception, and is more than willing to give the worlds most famous sound effect centre stage. The moment comes when Shaun and Liz are transported onto the outside street by the Winchesters cellar lift. Obviously, it doesnt look good for the couple theyre slap-bang in the middle of a zombie-filled street and are clearly going to get eaten. Yet then the military arrives and guns everything down you know what precedes their arrival? The Wilhelm scream, of course.
