Wright gets to reference his formative years in Hot Fuzz with the Somerfield supermarket where he used to work as a shelf-stacker. Yet not only does he get to put the company he once worked for in the film, the Somerfield in Sandford is actually in Wells, Somerset, Wrights hometown. This means Wright eventually got to carry out an employees dream and demolish their old place of work. Of course, he also doesnt miss an opportunity and can be seen for a brief moment performing his old job in the store he pushes a trolley in the back-store corridor as Angel goes to Skinners office as well as providing a voiceover the intercom in the scene when Angel gets annoyed with Skinners sinister showman act.
