The unveiling of the killer at George Merchants house is a homage to the shock reveals of killers in Brian De Palma and Dario Argento flicks. Wright expertly cuts these scenes with Angel and Danny hanging around in Dannys house. The flat itself was also in Little Britains Lou and Andy sketches, it which a disabled fat man outsmarts/trolls his benevolent carer. It proved to be the highlight sketch of the smash-hit series.
