18. The Do-Over

The second entry into Adam Sandler's four-movie deal with the streaming giant, this limp action comedy attempts to convince audiences that Sandler and David Spade are an entertaining double act, and categorically fails.

The plot doesn't make sense, there's a ton of product placement, some woefully dated humour that feels unsavorily mean-spirited, and a general listlessness that essentially reinforces the running joke that Sandler's movies are basically just paid holidays for him and his friends.

Unfortunately Sandler also dragged the likes of Paula Patton, Matt Walsh, Nick Swardson, Luis Guzman, Kathryn Hahn, Michael Chiklis, Sean Astin and Catherine Bell to the party, because apparently few can say no to that prime Netflix dollar.
