Shazam! is a film that is a load of fun. It focuses on the origin of Billy Batson becoming the superhero Shazam, while navigating life as a foster child and learning super-heroics.

The film is straight up hilarious, with Zachary Levi absolutely crushing the part. He plays the part of a child in a man's body well, acting exactly how a child in the real world put in the same position would. The child actors in Shazam! are also brilliant, many of whom will likely have successful acting careers.

Shazam! is a terrific coming of age story, full of character development, comedy and surprisingly a good amount of emotion to make it an ideal superhero film and one of the best DC movies to date.
