Tim Strode - Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers
It was a bit stupid of Tim and his girlfriend Beth to have sex when they knew a whole radio broadcast crew was on the way to Tim's family home, but in terms of his death, it's nothing overly stupid for Tim.
Post-sex, the guy opts to take a shower, where Michael Myers eventually catches up with him and slits his throat. Very simple, fairly generic, and pretty middle of the road for a list like this.
Beth - Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers
The girlfriend of Tim Strode, the death of Beth comes only a few minutes after her boyfriend's demise.
While Tim was killed after taking a post-sex shower, Beth's fate is sealed when she's on the phone with Kara Strode, who's calling from Tommy Doyle's place. Kara not only hears Michael stabbing Beth repeatedly, but she gets to see it in all its glory thanks to the not-creepy-at-all camera Tommy has pointing at one of the Strode House's bedrooms.
You could argue that Beth's death is a little more stupid than Tim's, for surely she should have picked up on the fact that her boyfriend was being murdered minutes earlier.
Bernard Garrett - Halloween II
You'd think that one of the main jobs of a security guard would be to be alert at all times, to be aware of any potential threats, and to act on those threats as and when they rear their heads.
Not if you're Bernard Garrett.
Working security at the Haddonfield Memorial Hospital site, Garrett completely misses Michael Myers entering the site, with him instead reading a magazine rather than watching the security video that literally shows Michael walking across the grounds and heading into the hospital.
So, when the phone lines are later cut and Garrett is sent to investigate, you don't feel all that sorry for the man when he receives a hammer to the head.
