EVERY Halloween Death RANKED By Stupidity
Ray Nelson - Halloween (2018)
Throughout David Gordon Green's Halloween, Karen Nelson's husband Ray seems like a nice enough guy. The problem is, he doesn't particularly take the whole 'boogeyman' thing all that seriously, believing that Laurie Strode is just a bit bonkers.
Even when Ray and his family are holed up in Laurie's home, complete with safe rooms and guns aplenty, he never really seems to grasp the situation he finds himself in, as he casually plays with a yo-yo while everybody else prepares for a potential confrontation with Michael Myers.
For Ray, he realises the severity of that situation far too late, with it only hitting home once he finds the dead bodies of Officers Richards and Francis sat in their police car. Not just dead, but Richards has a penknife stuck in his head, and Francis has been turned into a twisted Jack O'Lantern of sorts.
As Ray recoils in shock, Michael appears behind him and uses a windchime to choke him, before then breaking his neck.
Would Ray have stood a chance against Michael if he'd listened to his 'crazy' mother-in-law? Likely not, but he'd at least be a little more prepared had he taken Laurie's words seriously.
Marcus - Halloween Kills
After Michael has just killed Marion Chambers, Marcus - a real-life nurse who's dressed up as a doctor for Halloween - lunges at the Shape from the car's backseat, attempting to choke him with a stethoscope.
Nonchalantly, Michael looks at Marcus and just stabs him in his eye, killing him in the process.
Wesley Rhoades - Rob Zombie's Halloween
Unlike the original Halloween, the first victim of Michael's in Rob Zombie's Halloween is a young bully called Wesley Rhoades.
While we see this version of Michael bullied at home by his creepy stepfather Ronnie, his school days are likewise filled with bullying by, amongst others, Wesley.
After we're introduced to this canon's version of Sam Loomis - Dr. Loomis called in after various grim items are found in Michael's school bag - Michael runs off into the woods, where he dons a clown mask and waits for Wesley. A few brutal, bloody minutes later, and Wesley has been beaten to death with a tree branch.
Sure, it may have been a touch over-the-top, but yet again, this is another reminder that bullying is never cool.
