8. Cassian Andor TV Show

Status: Confirmed

One of the shows definitely in the works for Disney Plus, this will see Diego Luna reprising his role as Cassian Andor, with the series serving as a prequel to Rogue One.

Luna's excellent in the role, and while we've seen a lot of the rebellion, a more spy-centric tale involing Cassian (and, hopefully, Alan Tudy's K-2SO) has more potential than most. That's particuarly true given Stephen Schiff, who worked as a producer on FX's incredible spy series The Americans, will serve as showrunner. If it can take that level of character work and tension to a Star Wars setting, this will pay off big time.
