That same decision that killed Hoskins' team ultimately came back to bite the man who made said decision in the first place, Hoskins himself. With the Raptors free, no one was safe, and Blue ultimately showed Vincent D'Onofrio's character why he was so wrong.

He had seen his team slaughtered, but was still undeterred from using dinosaurs as weapons. However, when he came face to face with the Raptor he thought he could control, his attempts to calm it down like you would a dog were fruitless.

Turns out saying "easy, boy" to a hungry Raptor with prey in its sights doesn't make a scrap of difference. Who knew?
