Probably the worst thing that can be said about the fourth and probably final Hotel Transylvania film is that it came out a year ago and nobody can remember a damn thing about it.

Sold to Amazon for $100 million, Sony clearly knew they had a dud on their hands here, as the listless, anonymously produced Hotel Transylvania: Transformania feels less a work of art than it does a slice of ephemeral Content destined to be viewed and immediately forgotten.

Replacing Adam Sandler with a soundalike in the role of Count Dracula didn't get things off to a great start, beyond which this sequel brings the actually-not-bad series to an absolute nothingburger of a conclusion.
