Every Spider-Man Movie Ranked Worst To Best
A spoiler-free ranking of EVERY Spider-Man picture to date.
With Spider-Man: No Way Home now making its way into cinemas across the globe, what better time to reflect on the cinematic history of ol' Web-head.
For those who've yet to see No Way Home, don't worry, there are zero spoilers for that film featured here. Sure, this latest outing for Tom Holland's Wall-crawler is included in this list, but any major happenings of that picture are completely kept hush-hush.
Of course, Holland isn't the first person to play Spider-Man and he won't be the last, and here there's a lookback at all 13 feature-film appearances from a character who is so often viewed as Marvel Comics' finest. From generation to generation, Spidey is someone who forever strikes a chord with readers and audiences, and there's something so constantly relatable in the everyman teenager who has to juggle a million things at once... while also having to be one of the world's greatest heroes. As such, that story and that character has been seen time and time again on the silver screen across the decades.
Taking that all into account, then, here is a definitive breakdown, from worst to best, of every Spider-Man movie outing to date.
13. Spider-Man Strikes Back (1978)
The second of three Spider-Man movies which were essentially a couple of episodes of the TV series at the time tacked together, Spider-Man Strikes Back is dire.
Strikes Back is every inch a James Bond copy. There's a mysterious villain (Mr. White), there's a secret lair, there's a plot to blow up a pivotal US monument, and there's Nicholas Hammond's Spider-Man saving the day at the very last minute despite the odds being stacked totally against him.
