Part of Disney's ongoing attempt to seemingly remake every animated movie they've ever made - well, apart from Song of the South (hopefully) - it was announced that a new take on Snow White was in the works from The Girl on the Train writer Erin Cressida Wilson.

We've seen a couple of live-action takes on this mythology before - 2012 saw the release of Snow White and the Huntsman AND Mirror Mirror - but being able to adapt the Disney version - and the songs - is a huge advantage, especially with La La Land and The Greatest Showman songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul onboard. Still, until there's casting and a director, it remains close to the bottom of the pile.
