8. Ash's Exploits After Army of Darkness Need To Be Filled In
So with the prospect of Army of Darkness 2, there's just one big problem that's looming over the awesomeness that could ensue: Ash's history is so fractured that we have every clue in the world what he could have been doing, but no clue what he was actually doing. Did he fight Freddy and Jason? Maybe he squared off against the Marvel Zombies? Perhaps the two video games got it right? There is a very... fractured continuity when it comes to everyone's favorite SMart employee, so fractured in fact that even Army of Darkness itself needs some help figuring things out. If you remember correctly, there's about 50 DVD releases of Army of Darkness (an exaggeration), and two different endings on record (not an exaggeration). Depending on what version you want to stick with, either Ashley J. Williams went back to the modern day and back to work at SMart, or he accidentally took the wrong amount of the potion and wound up in the apocalypse. Whatever the case, there needs to be a definitive answer as to what he's been doing and how he got here to begin with (And seriously, if you guys could pull off some sort of vague reference to any or all of those possible continuities, it'd be awesome).
