Fanning & Fanning to star in Hurricane Mary

Am I the only one that didn't realize that the far too talented for her age Dakota Fanning had a sister who is also an actress?

Variety are reporting that Dakota will star alongside her sister Elle Fanning as two disabled twins for the movie Hurricane Mary. More info from the trade... The film tells the true story of an Irish-American mother, played by Patricia Clarkson, who fought a long battle for the rights of her handicapped yet gifted daughters to have a public school education. Production is scheduled for September, with Chris Cooper and William H. Macy also on board. The first time I saw Dakota Fanning was a role in a Friends episode where she had some scenes with Joey and I was like...... Wow, who is this kid? She could act better than the whole members of the show! Then in 2005, I saw her in Hide and Seek and War of the Worlds and she stole both movies, with is no small feat with Robert De Niro and Tom Cruise on both movies. So far I haven't been interested enough to write about the whole Hounddog issue (the movie where she has a scene in which she gets raped) but if her parents were happy to allow her to film it, then who are we to judge? source - variety
