Fantastic Beasts 2 Trailer 2 Reactions: 6 Ups & 2 Downs

1. The Action Sequences (And The Escalation)

Warner Bros.

After the RELATIVELY gentle action of the first Fantastic Beasts movie, this definitely feels like an escalation and there are some pretty big action sequences hinted at in the trailer that suggest the pace here is going to be significantly dialled up.

We're going to see Grindelwald's prison break and escape, a probable attack on the circus to retrieve Credence (though that might happen in the sequel), one underwater sequence, a monster attack, a fiery dragon attack and a climactic showdown between the Scamander brothers and Grindelwald (ominously for Theseus, unfortunately).

That's a lot to fit into around two hours, so it's probably right to think of this as more Deathly Hallows Part II than Part I. Which nobody should be able to complain about.
