7. The Lovegoods

The gorgeous, ornate ceiling in the French Ministry of Magic contains a sly nod to the Lovegood family, with the words "Plimpy" and "L'Éruptif" briefly visible.

The Plimpy is a fish mentioned in the book version of The Deathly Hallows, where Xenophilius Lovegood claims that Luna is out fishing for them. He also mentions that the Lovegoods have a popular recipe for freshwater Plimpy soup.

"L'Éruptif" is meanwhile the French translation for "Erumpent", a magical beast not dissimilar to a rhino.

Again in the novel of The Deathly Hallows, Xenophilius is noted to have possession of an Erumpent horn, which doesn't work out quite so well for the structural integrity of his home given its explosive properties.
