In this iteration the Fantastic Four are funded by a private company from the looks of it. That company probably isn't in the business of kidnapping its employees/guinea pigs and keeping them in a secret militaristic base in the middle of nowhere. At least, nobody's told of Mark Zuckeberg using his wealth on that...In which case, it's a good bet that they get scooped up by the government. Want further proof? The trailer features a brief appearance of a helicopter sweeping through some mountains, presumably transporting people to and from this place they're locked up (and later break out of). A black helicopter, no less, which is a classic icon of conspiracy theorists, the aircraft supposedly being used for all sorts of spooky government stuff.
