No spoilers here - for the few who might care - but the film's ending is a delirious, intoxicating assault of cornball romance upon the viewer.

This is best exemplified by a climactic montage sequence set to Ellie Goulding's Golden Globe-nominated "Love Me Like You Do" (the signature song for the series), featuring a collection of the most "romantic" moments from Ana and Christian's relationship.

To the staunchest fans, it might be legitimately emotional, but to most everyone else, it'll be unintentonally hilarious and utterly tone deaf.
