8. Elsa's Power Struggle

The first half of the trailer is dedicated to a solitary sequence that sees Elsa attempting to overcome the crashing waves and rocky terrain of the ocean with her powers.

And let's be frank; this sequence is incredible. The minute of this that is shown in the trailer is more compelling than anything in the entirety of the first film. From the way it externalizes Elsa's internal struggles with her powers, to the stunningly vivid animation, to the ebb and flow of the conflict between Elsa's powers and the raging sea, to the way it probes even deeper as she's literally attempting to stop the unstoppable force of nature (the ocean) that killed her parents in the first film.

It is flat-out phenomenal storytelling in every way and is enticing in so many ways. Not only does it tease Elsa's growing powers, it also teases a darker, bolder, and more confident direction for the sequel.
