Furious 7 Review: 15 Reasons It's The Best In The Series

13. The Pacing Is Perfect

Furious 7 is the longest film in the series to date, clocking in at a lengthy 134 minutes, making it ever-so-slightly longer than the previous two movies. However, it blasts along so breathlessly that it's pretty easy to forget this fact, and despite its length, it certainly doesn't feel that long. If anything, Furious 7 feels relatively rushed and probably could have run close to the three hour mark without torturing the audience too much. Still, this is by far the best-paced film in the franchise, setting things up quickly in the first half-hour and then pretty much never letting go until the finish line. The breaks between action are short and usually peppered with amusing dialogue, and serve largely to set up the next ridiculous set piece, so it's tough to imagine anyone getting bored even though the movie clocks in past the two hour mark.
