A strong opening to the episode saw Arya continuing to mess with the Freys, calling them all to a grand dinner where she poisoned every one of the family (who were anything of note, anyway), with a ringing threat that seemed to suggest that she is taking on the mantle of Lady Stoneheart.

So that's that for the theories that the much-wanted character might turn up: she no longer needs to because Arya's just stole her role anyway.

Incredibly, Arya still managed to get a pass from most fans commenting on the scene, who seem to be delighted that she's just committed casual genocide...

Only she could get away with that much killing and not have a big black mark to her name.
