There's not an awful lot to say about this point really! But it's still pretty big news for fans of the classic movies - the roar heard at the end of the trailer is exactly the same one that the original Godzilla screeched out all those years ago. In a sense, it's a good thing - for the purposes of nostalgia if nothing else - but I, for one, always thought it was a little bit silly and feel it's a bit dated for use in a modern movie. It's too high-pitched and doesn't sound like a sound that a creature of Godzilla's size should be capable of producing. When you consider the roar of, for example, Jurassic Park's T-Rex, it is considerably deeper, more formidable and more terrifying - and the T-Rex is a mere tiny fraction of the size of Godzilla. The fact that the classic roar has returned essentially has both its good and bad points.
