7. The Americans Wins Best Drama Series
While Keri Russell sadly didn't scoop the Best Actress award for her fine work on The Americans, the spy thriller series did at least finally win the Best Drama gong on its final attempt, in a rare instance of the Globes making a smart decision that even the Emmys never did.

Against stiff competition - Bodyguard, Homecoming, Killing Eve and Pose - The Americans proved it wasn't merely getting a consolation award in a weak year, but a well-earned gold statue for six years of superbly acted white-knuckle thrills, and one that went out on a high no less.
