5. Regina King Vows To Employ 50% Women On Anything She Makes

Regina King won the Best Supporting Actress award for her performance in If Beale Street Could Talk, and during her acceptance speech she boldly vowed that she would seek to employ 50% women on any future project she produced.

As if that wasn't awesome enough, she also made a passionate plea with the elite of Hollywood - producers in particular - to adopt similar equality practises.

If you didn't love Regina King already, how could you not after that? Fingers crossed that the industry as a whole actually listens to her, though.
