9. Fleabag Wins Best Comedy Series & Best Comedy Actress
Fleabag has been a major critical darling this past year, with its second series recently winning six Emmy awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
And writer-star Phoebe Waller-Bridge repeated this success at the Golden Globes, with the show beating out fierce competition such as Barry and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel to win the Best TV Series (Musical or Comedy) award, while Waller-Bridge also won the Best TV Actress (Comedy or Musical) gong.
Waller-Bridge was as charming as ever, and hilariously even thanked Barack Obama for placing Fleabag's second series on his year-end list of best TV shows, before referring back to an Obama-inspired gag from the first series.
With Waller-Bridge insistent that Fleabag won't be returning for a third go-around, the world is waiting to see what she cooks up next.
