12. Footage May Debut At Comic Con

As was semi-expected, Gunn revealed that there might be a teaser trailer (or at the very least some footage) at Comic Con as part of the Guardians Of The Galaxy panel:

Bear in mind the film has only just wrapped and doesn't see release for just under a year - the requirements of VFX alone will mean getting any polished footage in the wild is unlikely for some time. It's not that they're being deliberately secretive, it's just a matter of making sure it looks the best.

Having said that, it's inevitable that the footage shown at Comic Con will find its way out temporarily. That's just what happens on the ground there, no matter how poorly it presents the material.

As Gunn confirmed, it's going to be unfinished, unpolished and not for general public consumption if it does screen there...
