Guardians Of The Galaxy Comic Con Footage Leaked

Ever since Comic-Con wrapped up, there has been a bunch of rumours about "awesome Guardians of the Galaxy footage" shown from the panel doing the rounds across the internet. And now, with thanks to movieweb.com, it has leaked online. Check it out for yourselves below; The clip brings out a few different elements of James Gunn's sci-fi movie: the classic wit of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the epic scale of the film and a look at Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista and Zoe Saldanain in action! The Guardians of the Galaxy premise revolves around an American pilot and a group of futuristic alien ex-cons that go on the run with a highly coveted object that has major cosmic value. Infinity Gauntlet, anyone? This film will be the tenth instalment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and has a major job to set up Thanos as a future threat for The Avengers movies. On that note, Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel has been rumoured to have joined the cast of Guardians. The 46-year-old star is believed to be finalising a deal, to play the tree-like alien Groot according to a number of outlets. Jim Carrey and Adam Sandler were previously linked to the role of Groot when it was revealed they were in talks for a supporting voice role. Directed by James Gunn, the movie already has an all-star cast, including Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Michael Rooker, Ophelia Lovibond, Lee Pace, Glenn Close and Karen Gillan. Guardians of the Galaxy comes to theatres August 1st, 2014.
