20. What Ayesha Looks Like

Thanks to the Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 Super Bowl spot, we now know what villainess Ayesha (otherwise known as Her, Kismet or Paragon in the comics) looks like. And it's quite a look.

In the comics, she's a creation of the Enclave, who seek to make a perfect human being "without sin", which inevitably backfires. She's supremely powerful (like, on another level of power way above anything we've encountered in the MCU so far) and while it remains to be seen how much of that is retained in the film, she definitely looks the part (retaining Her's gold look from the comics)...

We also know she's a fan of ornate throne rooms and looking a little bit like a goddess, even if she's only really officially billed as a "high priestess"...

According to the film-makers, the Sovereign are a particularly pompous race, genetically created by themselves and self-sustaining as a result, with a complex that suggests they believe themselves to be perfect. They're also very difficult to deal with and way too easy to offend, which will no doubt work well with the infamously offensive Guardians.
