Trust a movie with the title Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 to be just a little bit meta. As the Guardians are gearing up to take action, Rocket asks Star-Lord, "So, we're saving the galaxy again?", and after Star-Lord confirms it, he says, "Awesome! We're really going to be able to jack up our price if we're two-time galaxy savers!"

It's hard not to read into the not-so-subtle meaning of this, that James Gunn is implying both he and the movie's cast can press the notoriously stingy Marvel Studios for more money next time once the film inevitably does gangbusters at the box office. This film really has layers.
