John Williams, the greatest living composer -- full stop. And that happens to be one of his greatest themes. So no. And Im not thinking of rewriting Beethovens ninth either. It just sounds like a thankless task, you know? So thats unequivocally a no. My heart belongs to Batman. I wouldnt even know how to go and give voice to it. I havent thought about it.
So does that mean the original story that Snyder is dropping John Williams' score altogether is also false, or is the director indeed looking for a new signature tune for the famous American icon? Personally, as I've said before, the Superman theme is an integral make-up of the character, as much as his cape and that he can fly. It means as much to the Superman franchise as the James Bond does to 007... and Snyder would be wise to re-use it, much in the same way Bryan Singer did for Superman Returns...
