Harry Potter: 10 Hardest Spells To Master
10. Any Non Verbal Spell
One of the first things Hogwarts newbies learn is just how important it is to speak clearly in the magical world. It's levi-O-sa, not levios-A, after all, and thanks to Harry's sloppy pronunciation when using floo powder for the first time, he ended up far from where he wanted to be.
This is an incredibly important aspect of most magic, and is something that every student needs to master. However, if you are a skilled witch or wizard, you can evolve into using non verbal spells.
This is, of course, where rather than chanting the incantation required out loud, it is simply summoned within the witch or wizard's mind. This is much more dangerous than casting a normal spell as there is a massively increased margin for error. A mispronunciation might end badly, but if anything popped into your head at the wrong time, who knows what could happen?
This takes an incredible amount of confidence and concentration, and it's no wonder Hogwarts doesn't begin to teach non verbal magic until students are in their sixth year.
