10. Hermione Returned To Hogwarts

The Deathly Hallows epilogue confirmed Hermione and Ron finally got together, but JK Rowling has since spilled the Bertie Bott's Beans about what happened to Hogwarts' resident brain box between the battle with Voldemort and that flashforward.

Rather appropriately, the bookish Miss Granger was the only member of the trio to return to the school for witchcraft and wizardry to study for a seventh year and take her NEWTS, basically the magical equivalent of A-levels.

Harry and Ron didn't go into further education, but that did their careers no harm as Potter went on to serve as Head of Magical Law Enforcement at the Ministry of Magic, while his best mate took up a manger's position at Weasley's Wizard Wheezes and later joined him at the Ministry as an Auror.

With those extra qualifications under her belt, the future Mrs Weasley eventually became Minister for Magic, succeeding Kingsley Shacklebolt (who is played by George Harris in the movies) in the role.
