12. Molly Weasley

Mrs Weasley may seem like a strange choice for a list of the most powerful witches. But power comes in many forms, and she was undoubtedly a talented individual.

Her speciality was food-related spells and charms. Molly could conjure up delicious meals faster than any other character and she was always able to cleanse the palate of her guests. She also had a knack for healing spells, which was particularly useful following George’s injury during the Battle of the Seven Potters.

Yet her greatest moment was during the Battle of Hogwarts when she singlehandedly took down Bellatrix Lestrange in a duel. Though this was partly because Bellatrix underestimated her opponent, Molly still deserves credit for her skill as a duellist.
