Harry Potter: What Happened To EVERY Major Survivor Of The Battle Of Hogwarts?
Where did everyone end up after the Battle of Hogwarts?
At the end of the Deathly Hallows we're told that Harry and Ginny, as well as Hermione and Ron grew up and had kids. Both the film and the book conclude with us seeing their children go off to Hogwarts as the steam rises on Platform nine and three quarters, all echoing back to Harry's first time entering the wizarding world all those years ago.
The Battle of Hogwarts took place on the 2 May, 1998 on the grounds of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Many important characters died during the conflict, including Lord Voldemort, Remus Lupin, Nymphadora Tonks, and Severus Snape. However, through all of these losses of friends and family, how did the survivors fare? What happened to our favourite wizard trio? Or Remus' and Tonks' son?
Some of our favourite character's futures are elaborated on in the epilogue of the series, while others have been revealed to us over the years. Whether it's a dark fate or a happy ending, this list will tell you about the fate of every major named character who came out the other side.
12. Harry Potter
Harry stopped Voldemort in the Battle of Hogwarts and in the book reseals the elder wand back in Dumbledore's tomb - as opposed to the film where he snaps it in two and throws it off a bridge. We left seeing him married to Ginny and waving off his son, Albus Severus Potter, as he prepared for his first year at Hogwarts.
After the battle Harry never went back to Hogwarts to finish his final year. Having no formal qualifications - due to not sitting his N.E.W.T exams - he still found work at the ministry of magic as an auror. He was soon promoted to head auror at the Ministry in charge of combating dark wizards.
Harry also helped to take care of Teddy Lupin after Remus and Tonks' death. Seeing much of himself in the boy we can assume Harry gave him the best childhood possible, as he never really had one himself. As for the Dursleys, Harry kept in touch with Dudley and remained on 'Christmas card' terms with his cousin.
