13. Recasting Kylie - Practical Magic 2

Practical Magic 2 didn't exactly get off on the right foot with many fans when it was announced that the role of Sally Owens' (Sandra Bullock) daughter Kylie had been recast.

Original actress Evan Rachel Wood confirmed that though she offered her services for the sequel, she puzzlingly wasn't asked to reprise her role.

Instead, Joey King played Kylie this time around, apparently due to a desire to cast a younger actress in the role - King being 12 years younger than Wood, and in fact not even alive when the original film was released.

It proved all the more bizarre as King bares no natural resemblance to Wood at all, but is actually a dead ringer for Alexandra Artrip, who played Kylie's sister Antonia in the original film.

Ultimately none of this is King's fault, yet did the end result justify the ageing-down of Kylie and decision not to invite Wood back? Absolutely not.
