This week should prove to be a significant one in terms of the curtain unveiling on David Fincher's highly anticipated, but still very much shrouded in secrecy remake of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo as footage is set to premiere at Empire's Big Screen in London this weekend. Our man Adam Rayner will be on hand to report back from what he witnesses but before all that, Sony are giving us a little tease of the characters in the film - with a headshot and biography blurb of all 18 major players released on the film's official website. Here you will find further images of Daniel Craig's journalist/amateur detective Mikael Blomkvist, Rooney Mara's Lisbeth Salander, the bi-sexual goth, who is prone to violent outbursts and is something of a computer genius and our first look at some of the major supporting faces including Christopher Plummer, Robin Wright, Stellan Skarsgard, Steven Berkoff, Goran Visnjic and Joely Richardson. In addition to these images, on the official website you will also here brief sounds of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross' score, their follow-up to The Social Network's magnificent Oscar winning work. In fact you don't need to go to the site because you can listen to it here. Appropriately creepy right? I wouldn't like to listen to this in a dark room, alone. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is the feel bad movie of this Christmas. Can't wait.
