British star Sheridan Smith has wowed us repeatedly on the small screen, but to date hasn't made an impact at the multiplex. She certainly gave it a good go however in this 2012 high octane thriller, directed by James Nunn and Ronnie Thompson. It also managed a sprinkling of social commentary - the main characters were the remaining tenants of a dilapidated monolith facing demolition. As if that wasn't enough of a headache they got caught up in a murder case and were subsequently targeted by a mysterious marksman. Jack O'Connell joined in with ramping up the charisma factor, alongside Russell Tovey (Grabbers) and Withnail & I legend Ralph Brown. The movie surprised critics via its simple but well-executed premise and also showed what happened when you got on the wrong side of a baseball bat-wielding Smith.
