2. The Final Showdown Is Delightfully Insane

After a rough second act, the movie gets back on course for its loony finale, which delivers a final showdown which finally sees the series realising its most barmy potential.

Though it's a standoff best not spoiled, simply know that it involves a kraken and a DJ battle, with several hit songs being used to unexpectedly hilarious effect and cementing the film's intentionally off-kilter tone.

Kids will be dazzled by the catchy songs and beautiful visuals, while adults will themselves marvel at an otherwise fairly formulaic family animation getting very, very weird in its final reel.
