Batman V Superman is rubbish. It's a mess perpetuated by one of the most talentless mainstream directorsthat ensnares all who touch it, delivering one of the most overblown, weak entries in the canon of either titular hero and shows a boggling misunderstanding of story.

The film has been out a week and between an awe-inspiringly abysmal RottenTomatoes score, Sad Affleck and every defence starting with the understanding it's despised, I don't think it's much of a stretch to say Dawn Of Justice iswell-established asaspectacular miss. Not a divisive curio like Man Of Steel either - this is a failure to everyoneexcept diehard fans andthose who cherish a vastly decreasing box office take.

But, as is the way with modern Hollywood, there's more to come. A lot more. But howare they going to come back from this?

Now, Warner couldintroduce restrictions on creative control and a whole host of new key players behind-the-scenes to try and halt the incapability of building organic character conflict and balancing story threads spreading through the rest of the DC Extended Universe. Althoughif theywere to drop Snyder right this second there's no avoiding that Dawn Of Justice has already created a lot of systemic issues with the seriesthat mean that, even with the very best of Hollywood on board, the DC movie enterprise already seems doomed.
