Onto editing, and again if we're talking about overdone Hollywood tropes that no one actually likes, it's the insanely annoying "fast-cut" editing technique that accompanies far too many big budget action movies.

So many top tier films see the editing side of things fly off the handle when a fight breaks out, as if simply adding "more camera angles!" translates into the enjoyment of seeing martial artists work their craft.

Seriously, when you've got an insanely capable cast - headlined by The Raid star Joe Taslim as Sub-Zero - cutting around his movements and diluting his abilities is a travesty.

Not one actual fight between two people is memorable because of this "style" of editing, and while you might remember who went up against who, I guarantee not a single punch or kick thrown stuck with you.
