Hugh Jackman Says Darren Aronofsky's WOLVERINE 2 Will Be "Out Of The Box"

By Simon Gallagher /

Hugh Jackman has been talking about the soon-to-shoot 'Wolverine 2', and about director Darren Aronofsky to NYMag at Elton John's Enduring Vision gala last night...
This is, hopefully for me, going to be out of the box. It€™s going to be the best one, I hope... Well, I would say that, but I really do feel that, and I feel this is going to be very different.
This is Wolverine. This is not Popeye. He€™s kind of dark... But, you know, this is a change of pace. Chris McQuarrie, who wrote The Usual Suspects, has written the script, so that€™ll give you a good clue. going to make it fantastic. There€™s going to be some meat on the bones. There will be something to think about as you leave the theater, for sure.
So that's Aronofsky definitely confirmed then? The actor then went on to talk about his preparation diet for the film's exacting physical requirements:
Expect to see four chicken breasts and a whole pile of steamed broccoli on my plate. I'm starting; I€™m having my six meals a day.
Funny that, I also eat six times a day and have the body of an X-Man. He's called Blob. Matt's previously wrote at length (seriously dude, everyday?) about the prospect of Aronofsky's 'Wolverine', so rather than me re-hashing... I will just point you HERE.
